Applications are invited from Indian nationals only for project position(s) under the consultancy/research project at the Department/Centre of Biosciences and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

2. ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology or related disciplines, with training relevant to molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or computational biology.
Desirable Experience:
- Research experience in structural biochemistry and computational biology, including protein modelling, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations (MDS), bioinformatics, and genomic data analysis.
- Familiarity with microbiological techniques, bacterial culture, sequence analysis, and BLAST.
- Experience with molecular visualization and analysis tools such as PyMOL, GROMACS, LigPlot, RasMol, and related scientific software.
- Experience in Python, AI/ML, and LLMs, along with exposure to protein structure-function analysis and interdisciplinary research workflows.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Basic Microbiology Routine Work.
- Computational protein analysis, modelling, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics simulation.
- Bioinformatics, genomic/sequence analysis, and interpretation of biological data.
- Support for molecular biology, microbiology, and interdisciplinary research workflows.
